Kazakh culinary culture showcased at UNESCO Circle of Permanent Delegates Evening

Kazakh culinary traditions were showcased at the annual reception of the UNESCO Circle of Permanent Delegates in Paris. The Delegation of Kazakhstan presented a variety of hot dishes, appetizers, and desserts representing the traditional nomadic cuisine to the guests of the evening. Renowned ethnographer and restaurateur Aigerim Mussagazhinova provided insightful commentary on the unique aspects of Kazakh culinary traditions. Notably, the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity includes 13 nominations from Kazakhstan. Among them are Nauryz festivals, springtime horse-breeding practices, as well as flatbread making and sharing culture.
