Kazakhstan is interested in expanding partnership in the mining industry with the U.S. and Canada, where working visits of the country’s delegation are planned for next week, according to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry. Representatives of Kazakhstan are set to hold meetings with relevant agencies and major American companies to attract investments in the development of subsoil and geological exploration works in the country.

“The Kazakh delegation will take part in the official opening ceremony of the country’s National Pavilion at the PDAC 2024 convention in Toronto. In addition, there are plans to attend the meeting of the Kazakhstan-Canada Business Council to establish contacts with representatives of mining companies in Canada,” said Aibek Smadiyarov, spokesperson for the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
