Kazakhstan launches large projects worth one trillion tenge

In 2023, Kazakhstan launched major projects in agriculture, industry and construction worth one trillion tenge. 289 agricultural facilities, along with grain and vegetable storage, greenhouses and agricultural processing plants, were established in various regions of the country. A production facility for dry mare’s milk with a capacity of 40 tonnes of powder per year started operating in the Kostanai region. Industrial facilities were actively put into operation as well. According to the relevant ministry, 170 projects were implemented, with key ones including household appliances and special coke plants in the Karagandy region and an enterprise to produce cars of an American brand using the small node assembly method in the Kostanai region. The government has ambitious plans for 2024, ministries are now creating a pool of projects.
