Kazakhstan ranks 5th among CIS countries in 2024 Social Progress Index

Kazakhstan ranked fifth in the Social Progress Index among the CIS countries, surpassing nations such as Moldova, Armenia, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Central Asian states, Finprom.kz reports. It is noteworthy that this rating represents the world's largest collection of social and environmental data. Experts evaluate countries based on macro criteria including basic needs, foundations of well-being, and citizen opportunities. Globally, Kazakhstan has claimed the 63rd spot among 170 countries, with an overall score of 69.73 points. Denmark, Norway, and Finland led the ranking, with South Sudan rounding it out.
