Kazakhstan-Romania cooperation in transport and logistics

Kazakhstan and Romania will jointly develop the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. A relevant agreement was reached between the Ministries of Transport of the two countries. The capabilities and advantages of the Romanian port of Constanta can play a significant role in unlocking the potential of the Middle Corridor and strengthening cooperation between the states to mutually increase transit cargo volumes and exchange advanced experience in the field of multimodal transport and logistics processes. Besides, the parties will cooperate in the field of air accident and incident investigation under the memorandum of understanding, which is aimed at developing and expanding cooperation, as well as creating an opportunity to upgrade the qualifications of Kazakh specialists according to European standards in order to improve flight safety.
