Kazakhstan to introduce new approaches for advancing agro-industrial complex

Kazakhstan is intensifying the diversification of crop areas, which will reduce the share of water-intensive crops and boost the production volumes of highly profitable plants. The country is set to implement water-saving technologies. A roadmap outlining measures for each direction has been developed and approved by the government. The document includes steps aimed at augmenting large and small livestock numbers, expanding meat and grain processing, and building dairy farms. In general, the implementation of the roadmap will double the gross output of the industry to 17 trillion tenge by 2028.
