National charity campaign ‘Caravan of Mercy’ kicks off

The ‘Kaiyrymdylyk Kerueni’ (Caravan of Mercy) charity campaign has kicked off in Kazakhstan. This event, aimed at providing assistance and promoting the principles of national unity, has been held in the country since 2015. The campaign will run until the end of the year. Kazakh citizens who have contributed to the development of philanthropy and charitable activities will be honored at the ‘Caravan of Mercy’ forum, scheduled for December. Last year alone, charitable events totaling over 1.7 billion tenge were held in the country as part of this campaign.

“We have established the national charity center ‘Zhomart Zhan’. Similar centers are currently being created throughout the country. It is worth noting that the ‘Zhomart Zhan’ center will operate as part of the charity campaign ‘Caravan of Mercy’. It will provide various forms of assistance to talented young people who need support today. Additionally, funds will be directed towards addressing various regional issues,” said Marat Azilkhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
