Kazakhstan and Turkey want to strengthen mutual cooperation

Kazakhstan and Turkey are set to develop cooperation in trade industry, said Canan Doner, Deputy Mayor of Maltepe district, Istanbul, in an exclusive interview with Qazaq TV. According to her, Kazakhstan confidently proved itself as a reliable strategic partner of Turkey. The countries have managed to strengthen and increase cooperation in various fields over 29 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

“The chief of our district is happy to support any cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey. We want to expand our partnership, especially in cultural field. Because the language and religion in each country is different, but it is possible to get closer and make friends through culture. We are ready to support any proposal of the fraternal country. We also have plans to develop trade. We plan to develop this direction. We are ready to be a fraternal city of any city of Kazakhstan. I am sure that our relations will only get stronger,” said Canan Doner, Deputy Mayor of Maltepe District in Istanbul.

According to the Deputy Mayor, multilateral activities of the TURKSOY international organization also contribute to the strengthening of friendly relations between the Turkic-speaking countries. It is called the UNESCO of the Turkic world. This year, as part of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Turkic states, Maltepe hosted ten-day cultural events and an international exhibition.
