Kazakhstan and Hungary build up trade

Bilateral trade turnover of Kazakhstan and Hungary shows positive dynamics. And this is despite the pandemic. Thus, the indicator increased by almost 12 percent in just eight months of this year. Meanwhile, the parties are set to enhance cooperation. Kazakhstan offered to facilitate mutual trips of citizens, as well as to launch the “Almaty – Budapest” flight and to use the QazVac vaccine in Hungary. In agricultural sector, the countries agreed to consider several promising areas, including the development of the branches of dairy farming and poultry farming, sheep breeding, as well as the production of Hungarian maize seeds.

“The flow of goods is great.  Of course, during the pandemic is all countries decrease, we feel that the economic situation is worse for the trade activities. But now the Hungarian export is growing and 58 percent higher than in the previous year. The flowed GATS of amount is nearly 330 million dollars, so it's a great achievement, I think. I was accompanied by 50 Hungarian businessmen in the delegation and our target, our aim is to create a more activity amongst the business societies. So I believe that if we create a place and some partners in the other side for our countries, it gets results a much higher business activity,” said Mihaly Varga, Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister.
