Investment in transport and logistics sector increases by 5% over the year
Over one trillion tenge (US2.3 billion) has been invested in fixed capital in the field of transport and warehousing since the beginning of 2021. This is 5 percent more than the previous year, finprom.kz reported. The largest inflow of investment accounted for the capital of Kazakhstan, amounting to almost 191 billion tenge (US$440 million). The top three also included Almaty region with 169.6 billion tenge (US$390.8 million) of investments and Almaty city with 121.5 billion (approximately US$280 million). Half of the entire capital was provided by the enterprises’ own funds.
