Information portal for trade facilitation launched in Kazakhstan

An information portal on trade facilitation Tradeinfo.kz was launched in Kazakhstan. The online platform is designed specifically for businesses and provides instructions for all cross-border trading processes step-by-step. A portal describes in detail all import, export and transit operations, specifies the requirements and necessary documents for each type of goods. Thus, information becomes more accessible to entrepreneurs. The portal was launched as part of the Ready4Trade-Central Asia project. According to coordinators, the platform will serve as a guide for SMEs, especially for those operating in the non-commodity sector.

“If you have a flour milling company that is going to export for the first time, then you need to visit this portal and choose one of the three different forms - for export, import or transit. After choosing the necessary type of product, click on it and get all the information relating to it. There is a sample document that shows in how many days it will be ready, as well as other points,” said project coordinator Nurlan Kulbatyrov.
