Unified pool of investment projects includes 765 projects worth US$51.5 billion

The total investment in fixed assets for the five months of the current year amounted to over four trillion tenge. This is 2.5 percent more compared with the same period of 2021, the country’s Ministry of National Economy reports. A significant increase in investment is observed in such spheres as education, social security, scientific and technical work. Shymkent, Almaty and Akmola region have the best indicators so far. In addition, a Unified pool of investment projects, which are currently implemented, has been established as part of increasing investment activity and attracting business. According to the Foreign Ministry’s data, it consists of 765 proposals worth approximately 25 trillion tenge. This year, it is planned to launch over 300 projects worth over three trillion tenge, 40 projects will be implemented with the participation of foreign companies.
