Kazakhstan sets differentiated tariffs for diesel fuel

The order of Kazakh Ministry of Energy on the introduction of marginal retail prices of petroleum products came into force. Gasoline prices remained unchanged. However, diesel fuel will be sold at differentiated prices. Kazakh citizens will be able to purchase up to 100 liters per day for 230 to 260 tenge per liter, depending on the region. To do that they are required to present a driver's license. The limit for trucks and buses amounts to 300 liters. According to Kazakh Ministry of Energy, the fuel will be sold at 450 tenge per liter, in case the limit is exceeded or diesel fuel is purchased by foreign drivers.
