Capital investments in education increase by 75%

Kazakhstan sees an increase in investments in education. In a short period of seven months of 2022, they reached almost 150 billion tenge. This is almost 80 percent more compared to last year. At that time, capital investments in the sector amounted to slightly over 83 billion. Thus, the growth of the volume totaled almost 75 percent, the Finprom.kz website reports. Experts say that Almaty accounts for the largest amount of investments, which is 46 billion in national currency. The TOP-three also includes the Turkistan region and Shymkent. The leading regions share half of all investments in the sphere. Most of the investments in education were provided by local budgets. Enterprises’ own funds amounted to about 31 billion tenge.
