Amount of loans allocated by Kazakh banks to agro-industrial sector increases by 16%

The amount of loans allocated by Kazakhstan banks to the agricultural sector increased by 16 percent, Finprom.kz website reports. In monetary terms, more than 156.5 billion tenge was raised for the fields of agriculture, forestry and fish farm. In the regional context, the largest volume of loans, which is almost 73 billion in national currency, was issued by the banks in Almaty in the first half of the year. The Kostanai region with 20 billion and the North Kazakhstan region with about 13.5 billion tenge followed next. From now on, villagers in Kazakhstan will be able to obtain microcredits to develop their agricultural projects. The budgetary funds in the amount of 40 billion tenge were provided for this purpose.
