Investment in Kazakhstan’s transport sector increased

Investments in the transport and logistics sector of Kazakhstan grew by 11 percent. In the first ten months of 2022, they exceeded a trillion tenge, Finprom.kz reports. More than half of the investments are provided by the enterprises’ own funds, which total almost 615 billion tenge. The remaining amount of 223 billion was funded from the state budget. In terms of the regions, Almaty city accounts for the largest volume of investments in the sector. The annual growth rate there made up over 45 percent in monetary terms, which is approximately 155 billion tenge. The top three also includes the Atyrau and Almaty regions.
