Base rate in Kazakhstan raised again

The base rate in Kazakhstan has been raised again. It now stands at 16.75 percent. The decision was based on forecasts and analysis of actual data. The growth was caused by external environmental factors, such as geopolitical uncertainty and its consequences, as well as persistent high food prices in the world. It bears noting that the base rate was raised to 16 percent in October.
