Kazakhstan and China to resume joint project worth over one trillion tenge

The work on the Kazakh-Chinese International Industrial City in the special economic zone ‘Khorgos-Eastern Gate’ will be resumed in the Zhetisu region. According to the governor’s office, the total volume of investments exceeded one trillion tenge. The logistics technopark is expected to include new production facilities, developed infrastructure, agricultural processing enterprises, shopping and entertainment centers, food courts, and others. Earlier, the project was suspended for almost two years due to the pandemic.
