Investments in Kazakhstan increase by 33% over five years

Kazakhstan has been creating new profitable investment opportunities. Foreign direct investment in the country has increased by 33 percent over the last five years. That amounts to more than US$41 billion. Experts say that the country is strategically located, has a favorable business environment and a developed system for the protection of investors’ rights. The largest amount of investments was received from the Netherlands. It exceeds US$62 billion. The United States is in the second place. The U.S. entrepreneurs invested almost US$38 billion in Kazakhstan’s economy. France follows with investments exceeding US$13 billion. Bermuda ranks fourth, and China is in fifth place.
