Kazakhstan again records increase in coronavirus cases

Kazakhstan again recorded an increase in the number of coronavirus cases. 1,134 more people at once were infected in the past day. The biggest number of COVID-19 cases was detected in Kazakhstan’s capital, where almost 200 people caught the disease. More than a hundred patients were registered in Pavlodar region, Akmola region and Almaty city. The total number of infected people in the country has already exceeded 171,000.

East Kazakhstan region – 19,638 (+43),

Atyrau region – 15,104 (+74),

Karagandy region – 12,920 (+72),

Pavlodar region – 10,874 (+151),

West Kazakhstan region - 10,030 (+45),

North Kazakhstan region – 9,709 (+76),

Kostanai region – 8,811 (+68),

Akmola region – 8,558 (+108),

Almaty region – 8,377 (+92),

Shymkent – 5,743 (+10),

Zhambyl region – 5,317 (+21),

Turkistan region – 3,928 (+22),

Mangystau region – 3,905 (+17),

Aktobe region – 3,841 (+18),

Kyzylorda region – 3,500 (+7).

Fortunately, the number of recoveries also grows. 948 more patients have recovered from the deadly virus over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to almost 156,000.
