Kazakhstan will open a South Korean training center for rehabilitation doctors. At present, Kazakh health workers are undergoing traineeship in the city of Daegu. The Almaty City Clinical Hospital personnel have attended lectures and observed the work of South Korean specialists for a month. They noticed that in South Korea the rehabilitation period after serious diseases lasts longer, and health recovery centers are well equipped. The health workers of the two countries agreed to exchange experience and conduct counseling via telemedicine.

“South Korean hospitals have emergency boxes, providing quick delivery of medicines to patients in wards. We don't have that,” Murat Dauletkeldyuly, exercise physiologist of the Almaty City Clinical Hospital, said.

“Sure, there are differences in medical equipment, but trainers work the same way,” Nurdaulet Mukhamedzhanov, exercise physiologist at the Almaty City Clinical Hospital, said.

“In November, we are launching the first rehabilitation treatment academy. We will provide both rehabilitation and physiotherapy education in the training center in Almaty. We will also use telemedicine and train via Zoom platform,” Jung Tae-Du, director of the Rehabilitation Medicine Department, said.
