Nur-Sultan drops out of COVID-19 ‘red’ zone

According to the Kazakh Health Ministry, Nur-Sultan dropped out of the high-risk ‘red’ zone in terms of coronavirus. Thus, to date, only two regions of the country remain in the COVID-19 ‘red’ zone, including Akmola and Pavlodar regions. The Kazakh capital is in the moderate-risk ‘yellow’ zone, as well as West Kazakhstan, North Kazakhstan and Kostanai regions. The rest of the regions are in a low-risk ‘green’ zone.

Kazakhstan reported 1,007 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, which is less than detected cases on the previous day. Total COVID-19 cases in the country exceeded 199,000.
