Mobile internet speed in Kazakhstan increases

The mobile internet speed in Kazakhstan increased by 63 percent. In the global ranking, the country climbed 21 positions in a year and took the 80th place. Today Kazakhstan is the leader among the states of Central Asia, finprom.kz reported. Kyrgyzstan took the 103d place, Uzbekistan – 120th, Tajikistan – 129th. The United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Norway, Qatar and China still remain the best in terms of this indicator. In addition, according to the forecasts of experts, the number of mobile internet users in Kazakhstan will increase by 54 percent by 2025. By that time, 3G services will comprise only 28 percent of the total market. They will be replaced with 4G and 5G.
