Kazakhstan to extend Year of Support for Children and Youth Reading until 2023

Let’s keep reading! Kazakhstan will extend the Year of Support for Children and Youth Reading for another two years. The Ministry of Culture and Sports is confident that this initiative will contribute to the development and formation of today’s classic writers of this direction. According to the department officials, now all planned events will continue until 2023. From talks to action – this year, as part of the Year of Support for Children and Youth Reading, 168 socially significant books in a run of 492 copies have already been published and distributed. 34 of them are by domestic authors. All copies were donated to the state libraries of the country.
