Tokayev receives head of ‘Otyrar Sazy’ orchestra, congratulates Muslims of Kazakhstan on beginning of Ramadan

2025 will mark the 100th anniversary of Nurgisa Tlendiyev. The Head of State emphasized the need for a wide anniversary celebration of the outstanding composer. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the head of the ‘Otyrar Sazy’ orchestra Dinara Tlendiyeva. The issues of developing Kazakh culture were discussed during the meeting. Dinara Tlendiyeva informed the President about the implementation of promising projects, including the performance of popular works from the repertoire of the Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and other famous musicians on Kazakh folk instruments.

The Head of State also received Chairperson of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, Supreme Mufti Nauryzbai kazhy Taganuly. The President congratulated all Muslims of Kazakhstan on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. The Supreme Mufti spoke about the events organized by the Spiritual administration during the Oraza fast, as well as about the upcoming establishment of a Board of Supreme Mufties of Turkic-speaking countries.
