Referendum 2022: Kazakh Central Election Commission accredits first international observers

The Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan accredited the first international observers to observe the republican referendum. On the proposal of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, 39 observers from international organizations and foreign governments were presented for accreditation. Among them 6 representatives from the CIS, 17 from the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, 5 from the Organization of Turkic states, and 11 from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia and Moldova. Accreditation of observers of international organizations and foreign governments will last until May 30, 6:00 p.m. Nur-Sultan time. The republican referendum on amendments to the Constitution will be held on June 5.
