Ethnic Kazakhs returned to their homeland to settle in country’s new regions

Ethnic Kazakhs, who returned to their homeland, will be able to settle in the new regions of Kazakhstan. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population submitted for general discussion a resolution on the resettlement of compatriots in Abai and Ulytau regions. According to the Ministry, Kandas people will be settled in seven regions of the country. Atyrau region will be excluded from the list and two new regions will be included instead. The essential goal of these migration processes is the improvement of the demographic situation in the country.
