Kostanai expedition sets off to places of life and work of Akhmet Baitursynov

A group of researchers is headed to see the places where the great educator of the Kazakh people Akhmet Baitursynov lived and worked. The purpose of the scientific expedition from Kostanai is to fill the gaps in the biography of the national enlightener. For this, the scientists intend to visit several villages and meet with historians and regional experts.

“We will sum up the results of the expedition at Ybyrai Altynsarin school. It used to have teachers-training classes at that time. It is where rural school teachers were trained. Baitursynov also taught there. We want to draw attention to this period in the life of the national teacher,” said expedition leader Almas Absadyk.
