Kazakh Parliament adopts law to make October 25 a national holiday

Kazakh citizens will be celebrating the Republic Day starting this year. The Senate members unanimously supported the package of amendments, including the rule on establishing October 25 as a national holiday. Citizens will be entitled to a day off work on this holiday. Independence Day on December 16 will also remain a public holiday. Now, the draft law must be signed by the Kazakh President.
