Competition for grant funding of young scientists kicks off in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan can provide funding for young scientists for their research. A competition based on the ‘Zhas Galym’ project kicks off in the country. The scientists engaged in fundamental and applied sciences research will be awarded grants, the Kazakh Ministry of Science and Higher Education reported. Applications for participation will be submitted in such areas as the rational use of natural resources, flora and fauna; extraction and processing of mineral raw materials and hydrocarbons, new materials; energy and mechanical engineering; scientific research in the field of natural, social and human sciences; information, communication and space technologies and others. It bears noting that the submission of applications will run from October 3 to 31 on the website of the National Center of Science and Technology Evaluation.
