Ethnic Kazakh actress wins prestigious Flying Apsaras Awards

Ethnic Kazakh actress Riza Alimzhankyzy won the Flying Apsaras Awards, a top prize given by the Chinese government for excellent achievements in the television industry. She got a Best Actress nod for her role in a popular TV series, which was released in the country at the beginning of last year.

“I feel really happy and lucky. I am very thankful to the jury and the audience for acknowledging my work. Let me express my gratitude to all of you in my native language and say Rakhmet!” Alimzhankyzy said.
