Kazakhstan sees growing number of immigrants

More than 11,000 immigrants arrived in Kazakhstan in the first nine months of this year. Compared to the same period of 2021, the growth stood at 51 percent. Most of the arrivals came to the Mangystau region. It’s plus 54 percent a year. The least of all immigrants stayed in the Kyzylorda region. It’s only 12 people. The majority of newcomers were from Uzbekistan. Almost 90 percent more people arrived from this country this year comparing to 2021. The second and third places were occupied by Russia and Turkmenistan. Among the top 5 countries also were Kyrgyzstan and China.  At the same time, a lot of people went from Kazakhstan to Russia. Germany, the U.S., Poland and Uzbekistan were also among the top destinations.
