Qazaq TV correspondent Zhenis Yermukanov becomes ethnic assembly’s contest laureate

Qazaq TV correspondent Zhenis Yermukanov became the laureate of the ‘Shanyrak’ national creative competition of Kazakhstan People’s Assembly. A total of nine distinguished journalists were awarded. Deputy Chairperson of Kazakhstan’s Ethnic Assembly Zhanseit Tuimebayev thanked the contestants, whose journalistic materials contributed to the development of social harmony and national unity throughout the year.

 “Domestic journalism should often address the topics of social harmony development and preservation of unity in a society, the formation of immunity to provocative information. The journalists play a special role in raising the status of the state language and explaining the state policy to the people,” Zhanseit Tuimebayev stressed.

 Yermukanov has been working in the television industry for more than 13 years, five of which for the international channel ‘Qazaq TV’. He is the author of numerous informational and analytical reports, programs and interviews.
