Representatives of Kazakh military hold meeting dedicated to upcoming holidays

Formation of a new image of the country, issues of the military and political strategy of Kazakhstan, provision of qualified professionals to the defense industry, continuity of generations - these and other issues were discussed at a meeting of the Ministry of Defense, the Council of Veterans of the Armed Forces, cadets of military educational institutions, and representatives of the military-patriotic movement ‘Zhas Sarbaz’. Kazakh Defense Minister Nurlan Yermekbayev noted the symbolism of the coming holidays, namely the Defender of the Fatherland Day and the Victory Day, stressing that they strengthen the bond between generations and military traditions between war veterans and current Kazakh servicemen.

“The Armed Forces of Kazakhstan are rapidly developing in accordance with modern requirements. Their structure and composition have been fully formed and they reliably ensure the security of the country. The Army is equipped with modern weapons and military equipment. The staff is trained at a high level. In general, to date, the Army of Kazakhstan is the defense of our country. Military service here is not only a duty, but also a great honor and respect. Thanks to the older generation, nowadays our soldiers show high military skill, coherence and combat training,” Yermekbayev said.
