President Tokayev chairs Security Council meeting

At the meeting of Kazakhstan’s Security Council, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed for an objective analysis of the key challenges and threats to national security amid current conditions, along with the development of preventive measures. The Head of State highlighted the particular significance of the discussed issue in terms of strengthening Kazakhstan’s economic and military capabilities in light of the complex global geopolitical situation. He underscored that the security of citizens and the state as a whole must consistently remain at the forefront of the government’s and all agencies’ attention as a priority area of their activities. Following the session, decisions were made aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the system for protecting national interests and managing risks to national security.
