Zhaniya Aubakirova

Zhaniya Aubakirova is People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an outstanding musician, she has been representing Kazakh art on the world stage for over 30 years. 

For the famous Kazakhstan pianist the year 2018 turned out to be difficult and contradictory. After more than 20 years, she left the post of rector of the country's oldest educational institution, the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy. 

However, the light strip of 2018 was the celebration of a special date. The anniversary of creative activity lasts a whole year. For a year the pianist has performed on tour in Kazakhstan and abroad. She has been collecting an anthology of Kazakh traditional music and takes part in international festivals
