For a long time, 31-year-old Maria Auezova was quite successfully engaged in para-powerlifting. She won victories at republican tournaments, received the title of master of sports. And suddenly, the she changed her occupation and began preparing for the ascent to the highest point in the world. Before Everest, she had only 3 ascents in Burabay region.
