The last Batyr

Kazakh batyrs have never been inferior in strength to European knights or Russian bogatyr. They were great warriors, gifted with bravery, strength and intelligence, who always stood up for the defense of their people and territory. Ospan batyr is the last Kazakh Batyr, which several decades ago could not even be mentioned. Why was his name banned when he lived and how  did his work affect the role of Kazakhstan in the world political arena?
